We will be transforming the Greenwich Borough Hall into a spectacular sports venue inspired by the sights and sounds of Tokyo streets and the Sumo Halls of Ryogoku. The venue will be divided into Balcony seating, Action Zones and Doyhō-side VIP dining.

We encourage guests to come in the colours of their Heya, which will be sent to them ahead time. Optional merchandise and attire will be available for purchase at the venue.

The Tokyo Nights experience is an event primarily designed for adults, given the themes and nature of the performance. 18+.
Expect vibrant visuals and bright colors on screens throughout, accompanied by fluctuating volume, lights. Attendees should be aware that the event will feature sumo wrestlers in their traditional competition dress, known as a mawashi.

Our performers are authentic, retired sumo wrestlers (Rikishi) who have competed in Japan. The event itself is a dynamic reinterpretation and homage to the sport. We blend their incredible skill with high-energy, theatrical elements for a unique, London-style spectacle. It's the power and artistry of sumo but with a twist.
We will be announcing who our Sumo are closer to the event dates.
Each event will have a rotating cast of at least four competitors, representing our four Heyas (teams). They will genuinely compete for supremacy on the night, in a mini tournament with plenty of opportunities for extra theatricality and a few surprises.
